THE STORY
MARS ULTOR — THE AVENGER
Augustus established the cult of Mars Ultor, Mars the Avenger, and Roman soldiers invoked his name before battle. Not a god of glory or parade, but of vengeance owed and paid. His weapon was the spear. Mythology holds that he soaked himself in the blood of his enemies once they were broken.
Down the back, the words the legions carried: STRENGTH AND HONOUR. In Latin, VIS ET HONOR. Set vertically and rendered in marble, the stone Rome carved its gods and emperors from, and the material its power outlived itself in. Marble is how the empire chose to be remembered. The words are set in it deliberately.
Drawn by Raf the Mighty (toomanyskulls), the artist behind the Immortal Praetorian Skull and the Diana Huntress designs, working out of the heavy metal underground rather than a stock graphics library.

TACTICAL SIZING NOTE
Unisex fit, cut true to size. Take your usual size for a standard fit; size up for the relaxed, oversized drop.
PRODUCT CARE
Machine wash cold, inside-out, with similar colours. Hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if needed, never iron the print.

What does "Design Color" change?
The garment is always Praetorian Black. The option selects the colour the Mars artwork and the back lettering are printed in — White or Pompeian Red.

Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with milddetergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. Nofabric softeners.
Drying
Avoid tumble dry. Hang-dry for longest life. Do not dryclean.

Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration.
