THE GUARD THAT NEVER FELL

Augustus raised the Praetorian Guard in 27 BC: nine cohorts, between four and six thousand men, and the only soldiers in Rome permitted to carry a sword in the emperor's presence. They stood as the symbol of imperial might for over three hundred years.

Across the back runs the dispatch Caesar sent to Rome after the Battle of Zela in 47 BC, where he broke Pharnaces II and twenty thousand men with three legions at his back. Plutarch and Suetonius both recorded it in three words: VENI VIDI VICI. I came, I saw, I conquered.

TRAINING APPLICATIONS

Built for the Arena mindset. The triangle gusset opens the hip for guard work, deep squats and high kicks without the seam binding at full range, the detail cheaper leggings leave out. The waistband is anchored with clear elastic so it holds through bridges and ground work instead of rolling, and the four-way stretch recovers rather than bagging at the knee. UPF 38–40 for training outdoors. Suited to BJJ, yoga, lifting and high-intensity work.

TACTICAL SIZING NOTE

Compression fit, cut close to the body, finishing at mid-calf. Take your usual size. Between sizes, size up for training and down for a tighter compression feel.

PRODUCT CARE

Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colours. Non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Hang-dry for longest life; do not tumble dry or dry clean. Cool iron inside-out if needed, never iron the print.

FAQ

What length are these?
Mid-calf. They finish above the ankle, not at it — cut for training rather than as a full-length legging.

Does the print run the full length?
Yes. The Praetorian design covers both legs edge to edge, sublimated into the fabric rather than laid on top, so it will not crack or peel at the seams.

Will the waistband roll during floor work?
The high waistband is anchored with clear elastic to stay put through bridges, squats and ground work. Take your usual size; size up if you want more room through the hip.

How long until it arrives?
Every piece is made to order. Allow 3–10 business days depending on region.
